Meet Sister Saryea

Saryea, born and raised in Milwaukee, WI from a loving family of six. Saryea, being the youngest of her siblings always received attention for the accomplishments she’s achieved throughout the years. As a child growing up in a strong Christian background, her parents always encouraged her to excel in future goals. As her parents grew in Christ, Saryea exhibit special talents at an early age singing and playing instruments. Under great admiration and guidance of the Honorable Bishop Ellis E. Murchison, Sr. of the Pentecostal Power Churches, Inc., Saryea confessed her love for Christ as her talents grew with great passion as a soloist, choir member, choir director and administrative assistant.

Saryea remained focus on obtaining her education. As a graduate of Custer High School, she later pursued her secondary schooling from UW-Whitewater where she received her Bachelor’s Degree of Arts & Communication in 2001. After graduating, Saryea relocated to University Park, IL to pursue her Master’s Degree in Communication & Training in June 2004.

Internationally, Saryea traveled to South Africa and Cuba to offer outreach service by way of distributing food, clothing and monetary goods to the surrounding villages and townships.

Locally, Saryea demonstrated commitment and dedication to community service through volunteer for the African World Festival, Martin Luther King, Jr Back to School Festival, Community Health Fairs and the National Pentecostal Power Churches, Inc. Abstinence Education seminars and workshops.

While studying at UW-Whitewater, Saryea began her broadcasting career voluntarily in the Fall of 1997. She took no time in finding her passion of becoming an on air radio personality on 91.7 FM, broadcasting live every Sunday night to uplift, inspire and encourage her fellow students with the best in Gospel Music. Throughout the summer months, Saryea continued to stick with her religious roots by becoming apart of WGLB 1560 AM in Milwaukee, WI. During her 20 year tenure at WGLB, she had the opportunity to meet and interview national recording artists at the Gospel Music Stellar Awards, The Soar Radio Music Awards and African World Festivals, host various events throughout the city and do live remotes for community events.

As Saryea’s love for radio grew she was blessed to host “The Gospel Music Morning Radio Show Monday through Friday 8am-12pm. In November of 2013 she was chosen to host the #1 Most Voted Radio show called, “The Gospel Music Morning Mix” with Dennis Walton, Founder & President of Made Men Worldwide, Inc. One highlight of Saryea’s radio career was being a part of the documentary film entitled 53206 Milwaukee.

Aside from radio, in 2001 Saryea started her business named Higher Dimension Graphic Design and Print. She has serviced clients locally and nationwide working with businesses, schools, daycares and churches.

Saryea loves what she does, carrying all of her inventory in her head and feels that even with all of her success, the best is still yet to come.
